Alli Side-Effects ... Yikes!

In order to ensure that I fill out my blog each and every day, I'll be doing it at night before I go to bed. It's like when I wrote in my diary in middle school -- except less embarrassing. Haha.

Oh Alli ... They claim that if you eat low-fat (each meal less than 15g of fat) then you won't have the diarreha that some experience with the pill. For the most part, I have found this to be true. What theyd don't tell you about is that no matter what, while you take the pill -- everytime you go the bathroom (and sometimes if you just pass gas!) this orange oil comes out of your butt. It looks exactly like drops of pizza grease. It can be incredibly messy and smells awful. I feel disgusting talking about it. I've actually been wearing panty liners. Yuck.

Is it worth it? If i see that it is aiding my weight loss, I guess so.

Breakfast: fiber bar - 140
Lunch: chicken noodle soup - 400
Snack: small cheese pastry (shouldn't have eaten it) - 300
Dinner: fiber bar - 140

Total: 980 :o)

To Alli or not to Alli? That is the question.

I was much too busy yesterday to have anytime to log in my food. I did well, but I had a couple of glasses of chocolate milk that I'm sure is excellent for a diet.

Breakfast: 1 bowl of honey bunches of oats - 350 cals.
Lunch: 1 bag of popcorn: 75 cals.
Dinner: ham & cheese sandwich, 10-12 cheez-its, 1 orange: 375 cals.

Total Cals: 800 cals

Thinking about getting Alli. I've never bought into any of the promises those diet drugs have made before, but this one feels different. So much so that I'm actually considering buying it. It's not cheap, but I think I'll try it. I'd love some feedback about Alli. Have you tried it? Have you heard anything about it?

Motivation is what gets you started.

My current weight is a shocking 193 lbs. It was definitely higher than I thought. I hadn't stepped on a scale in months because facing the truth about how much you really weigh is always difficult. However, now I know. I now know how far I need to go and how much work it will take to reach my ultimate goal (125 lbs.) For now, my temporary goal is what I am focused on (150 lbs.)

I am a calorie-counter. I find that it really works for me and counting isn't something I mind doing. My goal is to always remain under 1100 cals. per day. Cardio almost everyday and weight-lifting 3x per week.

Had plans to play tennis today with my boyfriend. Unfortunately, he had to take his mother to the hospital and we were unable to play. Might still be able to play later today, if not -- I'll be making a trip to the gym for some much needed cardio.

Breakfast: 2 scrambled eggs, 1 orange - 250 cals.
Lunch: 1 ham & cheese sandwich, 1/2 cup of macaroni salad - 450 cals.
Dinner: medium steak salad - 300 cals.
Snack: 1 orange - 50 cals.

Total Cals:
1050
